Conjunctivitis a.k.a. Sore Eyes

"Sore eyes" or conjunctivitis is a very common children illness. You'll know your kid has it when his or her eyes turn red, start to swell, itch, and have watery or sticky discharge. Conjunctivitis is a very contagious disease so make sure to take extra precaustion to prevent spreading the bacteria or virus. Seek medical help immediately; do not self-medicate to avoid complications.

Help protect your child from sore eyes by making sure that he/she has strong immune system. Also, teach your kid to practice hand hygiene.
